and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...

Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...

a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.

I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try

dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!

But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.

Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

Very busy - 6 weeks into new job and I'm project managing 2 big pieces of new business in, sorta hit the ground running. It's fun and after 5 months unemployed it's good to be back, but it's stretching me.

And balancing that with new man biggrin and doing out my back bedroom is proving a challenge. But I'm happy so you find the energy don't you?

Having work is always a good thing, at least I've always thought so. It's all part of keeping the body and soul thing together. wink

You know sometimes I'm not even sure of where the energy DOES come from. I'm just glad that it's around when I really need it. Now stop grinning so bid, I'm going to have to pull my shades if the wattage get's any brighter. Funny what a guy in your life will do to it. wink

Sure is - 5 years of singledom has sorted my head and my life out so I'm ready for a bit of TLC and I'm getting that in bucket loads tongue There's life in us old gels yet ubblolubblol

seriously tho, being single so long has made me so much more appreciative & my expectations are simpler - mind you I've gone thru the old menopause in that time to and it sure helps not having all those random hormones flying around umm ubblol Better shut up before I gross out the kiddies conpletely eek ubblol

Oh please, the way these kiddies talk? Let's just give them something to worry about. wink

There is another nice thing in that "after menopause" stage of life ... the likely hood of getting pregnant falls dramatically. biggrin
