Hey there everyone,
Well, now that I'm close to post number 300 I thought I'd do an intro thread... it seems like I'll be hanging around for a while now

Yep, this is all changed cos I'm not feeling as sentimental as I was when I wrote the last intro.
I'm 28, live outside Belfast in Northern Ireland, run the fire performance group FirePoise (www.firepoise.com), like to travel and good music.

It's just become a habit for me now.
So how are we all today? I'm having one of those 'everyone is ganging up on me and I want to go and hide on some desert island in peace and quiet for the rest of my life' kindof days (otherwise known as Clare-feeling-sorry-for-herself)

yes, that did help lots, thanks darlin... (giving myself a shake and remembering there's lots worse things happening in the world) Ohhh. Chocolate deserts of various types... hmmmm. I shall just look at them and smell that lovely chocolatey smell, since I'm being good and cutting back these days.

I just had a marvellous weekend with a lovely man, and it was all topped off when I came back today, checked my emails and - lo and behold - I won the HoP monthly competition!!

I've entered it every month since i joined and have never won the damn thing.
Although
that said, Mr Malcolm gives me lots of really cool presents and lets me stay at his house and eat his ice cream, send him paintings, meet his cat etc. So i'm not really in any position to complain....

Yup yup, things are going well, just slightly... errr... hectic at the moment.
We have less than 2 weeks to get all our stuff packed up, decide what's coming with us to Canada and what's going into storage.
In amongst that, saying all our goodbyes to people and trying to book my flights back to the Uk and then to Canada.

But utterly exciting... good luck and I hope things work out well for you both... it'll probably be quite scary and new for the first while... but I'm sure you'll settle into it.
Things are all changing for me in a couple of weeks too, it's rather scary, but it's definitely the right thing.
