Wanted to get my first fire poi set, but want to know why someone might choose the dark chain over the shiny? Is the effect appear any different while spinning? Maybe the shiny stands out a little when the flame reflects upon it, making it more noticeable? Therefore less of an illusion because you can see the individual controlling the poi. Not intertwined in dance with the fire.
