Posted: Hi there, so I'm new to fans and just purchased the medium lotus fans which are lovely but I'm realizing that they are a bit smaller than I'd like . Add to that they have a Russian grip which in the states doesn't seem as widely used or easy to get good instruction on tech moves with. I'm thinking of replacing them with the large lotus. My question is, to anyone who's used large fans is does this make it significantly harder to learn tech. I'm not looking to be a spinning wiz but more for presentation with the ability to do incredible spins. In other words I don't want to be inhibited by upgrading to larger fans if that would the case. Anyone have experience doing tech with large fans with just a finger hole and not Russian grip style? I'd appreciate it greatly. I know its alot to answer !
