Saturday 1st April 2006

Last night Joss, Brad and I went down into town for a burn. Fired up my new sticks for the first time, and hurled some poi about. We span for about 3 hours, and i managed to burn myself about 5 times. The new sticks are shorter than I'm used to, and I managed to catch the really hot metal bit at the end under both armpits (at seperate times, of course.) I also managed to grab the wick in my hand at one point as well, which was silly. Ran to Spar and bought some Germolene (they didn't have any Savlon) which helped a lot.

The police came and had a chat, and having satisfied themselves that we weren't drunk (or letting drunk people play) they wished us well and went to do something more important, like taking drunk 12-year-olds home and stuff.

About midnight we went home, and Joss and I watched Kindred: The Embraced until the early hours.

Woke up about 4 this afternoon, and am now sat in the lounge, drinking tea and smoking some green, and playing poker. In a bit I'm gonna go down to the pub and meet up with Kelly and Joss. We're gonna watch some mates of ours play a gig, then probably go for another burn. Should be sweeet. weavesmiley

Happy Fools Day everyone!

Kels and Ry: I have every episode of Lost on my computer, (well up to ep 17 of season 2, which is as far as they've got. I have several orders for dvd's that will have to wait until I get a dvd burner. Incidentally, the episode you quoted Ry, features possibly the most annoying character in the entire show, Ana-Lucia, and don't worry, everyone on the island ends up thinking she's a nobber. wink

There better not be any bees in my thread.

Hey Adya, d'ya wanna cushion? smile *passes a doobie*

Yes.. that character.. man. The actress appeared on Ellen and I swear she was off her face on something or other. Isn't she a key character or something?

"passes a doobie"? A doobie is so not a cushion! tongue Unless you're talking about the doobie brothers, in which case.. I wouldn't know.. what's wrong with bees in the thread? ubbangel

Sounds like you've got a good evening planned.. bit envious.. have a good weekend!

ps. Kindred.. first it was Lost.. it just gets better doesn't it.. *shakes head*

Nah, she's important, but not a "main" character. She does get a little bit less annoying, but I have a feeling she'll come to a nasty end. Karma always seems to bite them on the ass.

Of course a doobie isn't a cushion, I was offering her a cushion, and giving her the doobie. The cushion was optional. biggrin

Bees are fine, as long as they're stoned and just sit there having little honey-flavoured hallucinations and don't try any of their little kamikaze tactics.

And you're not allowed to take the mick out of me watching Kindred - I know it's cheesy and rubbish, but I used to play the game it's based on, and I've wanted to watch it ever since I heard about it, so you can't stop me. Bwah hah hah!

2nd April 2006 - 2.00am

Just got home, burnt but happy. This evening I walked down to the Jacob's Ladder to watch my mates Duncan and Dan play a gig, and met up with Kels (Maus.) Once the show was over, (and I'd sunk a few pints of cider) we walked down into town and had a burn. We span for about 2 hours, and Kels ran around like a loony getting drunk people to give us money. We got home to mine and counted up, and she'd managed to make £45!!! Bonza! ubblol

Sat at home now, Kels is sleepin in the spare room, and me, Joss and a bunch of others are watching Team America (F*ck Yeah!) in the lounge. I'm gonna play some cards and rub germolene into my burns. smile

Ooh I was listening to that today. Was going through my CD/DVD collection looking for stuff to ebay so that i can afford to get to (and eat at) that damnedable falmouth 5 fiasco. Happened across an aphex twin cd and banged it on.

Now I'm just trying to figure out what would be a good price to sell it at....

Good stuff Flash, good stuff. I wonder who'll win the prize for coming furthest for Falmouth? At past events we've had people from Oz, the US, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and Scotland...(did i miss any? apart from wales? ubblol)

Sunday 2nd April 2006

About 7am this morning, after spending the night chatting to crazy HoPpers around the world, I decided to go to bed. First I popped out onto the road outside, and had a burn as the sun came up. There's a little roundabout out there, and from it I could see the beach on one side of the town, and looking the other way, the docks (which was nice.) The sky was turning a deep shade of pink, surrouded by bands of deep turquoise along the horizon. I jumped around a bit, then had a bit of a chat with some old guy who was walking his dog. He thought it was hilarious that I was spinning in the road. ubblol

I dragged myself to my room and fell asleep, but for some bizarre reason woke up about 12.30, not refreshed in the slightest. Spent a couple of hours blearily drinking tea, then just mooched about, watched a bit of House, ate some soup etc... For some reason my housemates are now watching "Ali G - In Da House", which is probably one of the worst films ever, after Spice World and Monkey Bone. I think it's an omen telling me to go to sleep...

G'night beautiful poiple, I love you all. grouphug
