Been "twirling" since: i got my good-ol sand bags from some hippys in airley beach! if that description fits you feel free to say hi! however my very first time was on school camp in NZ in grade 6. I then started "spinning" when I went to the UK and got teased for saying "twirling"

Favourite Quote/Saying: "Don't let the past remind us of what we are not now" - Crosby, Stills and Nash

I believed him but maybe I is being gullible smile Good story anyway - better if it's true but maybe I've just tapping another Urban Legend without knowing it. Don't really mind...I like Stories smile

P.s. Did you hear that a year and a day ago a man gave birth to a sentient 'storytelling cabbage'? It spoke fluent English! No kidding, upon birth the first thing it said when it opened it's cabbagie lips, was:

"I am a teller of stories - a dreamer of dreams - I know seven words of Latin, a little magic and a trick or two - I know the proper way to meet a dragon and in the right weather I can stand on my head. I am not common, I am a luxury; and in that sense, 'Necessary'."

On the grave of my mother these where witnessed to be the first words out of it's mouth. So while it could speak - it was obviously not very bright. It was clearly plagiarising the works of Jim Henson and didn't have an idea, or story of it's own it it's head; but by god could that cabbage spin a tale…that was at least until last week - when the man ran out of cornflakes and boiled the unfortunate cabbage up for breakfast instead.

True story, my aunt’s, wife’s daughter was the midwife who delivered it smile

Well, there are now photos of the little dragon up in the gallery! None of me twirling because quite frankly, there are none in existance (actually, my ex might have a few, but like they count! ubblol). But at least you can now know what I look like (because unfortunately, I am not Belle from Beauty and the Beast)

aww thanks you two! hug

I had my frist exam today - literature!

I was SOSOSOSOSO nervous! It's my best subject so I really didn't want to screw it up! But the passages we were given to write about were about as good as they could have been! I had written practise exams on all of them, and I was even able to write about how one of my texts has a universal mesage of prejudice which will never be over (which my teacher loved and hopes I could find a way to put into my exam!)

Maths part 1 is tomorrow. I'm not too scared. I've been doing alright on the practise exams, (far from perfect, but about the 75-80% mark) so as long as I dont make any stupid mistakes I should be alright! I just can't be arsed studying tonight after my exam today! But with the exam in the morning, anything I don't know now I'll never know!

actually I ahve just been highly contemplative of prepositions in the last while since I'm finally being forced to use a second language on occasion. German preposition use has an entirely different philosophy about it, and the experience often leaves me wondering about english ones aas well - "of" age, "over" age,... "on" age, "above" age, "about" age.... cripes, I can hardly keep it strait anymore in either language.

It is like when you finally adjust to driving on the other side of the road, and suddenly you realize you have no idea which side of the road you are supposed to be on. At first you know to fight your instinct, but after a while, once the new way becomes ingrained, you don't instinctively know which instinct to fight where.

And so now I begin to struggle with my english (esp. prepositions), without even having the benifit of being fluent in German yet. And now even native english speakers are trying to confuse me...
