so a little about me....
I can juggle, im self taught i never really looked up a tutorial or anyhting. Im honestly not bad. i can juggle one handed 2 items (either hand), three items, three off a wall, and three of a table top off a wall. i cannot juggle 2 in each hand, but i have been trying for a LONG time.
i see some natural talent in poi, and ive always had a hard on for fire spinning. i would like some advice, tips, and good videos that i can work with. i feel i have natural talent for rhythm and coordination. so i don't want anything TOO simple. something that will get me on the right foot, and also look impressive.
from my first impression this seems like a legit message board.

Hello hi and welcome
Check out the "learn" section of the website, it has some fantastic tutorials both for beginners and advanced spinners of all things awesome
The forum is also fantastic and full of useful info. Use the search to hunt down threads on preferred length of poi, etc

i have a few friends who spin, but i'd like to have some practice in before i try to step up to their level. their kinda good.
after watching many videos, and some practice, it seems as tho its more about the flow than the spin, moving your body fluid-like.
i didnt even know there were squirrels in africa... how did they swim that far?
what is vegamite and marmite... they sound like a pokemon.

You can just see them plotting. The beady evil little eyes....
Dwreck: To get two in each hand (ie, 4 objects) try do the throws in an arc parallel to a line through each shoulder. That is, your hand moves left and right, not front to back. It may help, may not. It is the "standard" for a basic four ball fountain.
