For the first time since 2003 I have been conquered by a bowl of Pho!!! It was the first time I had Thai style Pho, far richer than the Vietnamese kind...
So good though, I also think Sriracha is the world's most perfect condiment!

If pho would replace McDonald's I would be soooooo happy, it's Vietnamese fast food they eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You would love it! *hates American food except for Thankgiving dinner once a year*

ok so I got into a lot of trouble cuz of this book. I hated it a lot and it was not happy time for me lol. Either way the teacher (whom me and my friends plotted against on a regular basis) asked what something represented and I raised my hand quickly and said "The Japs!" Now I didn't mean this as racist but only an abbreviation of Japanese. My teacher flipped and i got detention. The end ^^

Only one essay?! My 6th form English teacher assigned us an essay on this book every other day! It made what would have been an enjoyable book, loathsome.

I quite liked that book actually.
There were a lot of books that I hated in high school that I quite like now, I'm not sure if thats because I'm older or if its because I'm no longer being forced to read them.

On the subject of books for essays.... We had to do 'The Lovely Bones' last year, and I actually really liked the book. It's one of my faves tbh, I thoroughly enjoyed reading and writing about it.
We have cool teachers.

I think studying a book is the best way to make you hate it with a passion.
Unless it's "Dispossessed", cos that's just sh!thouse (MNS, did you have to do that?)
Or Of Mice and Men (painful)
Or 100 Years Of Solitude (incest = NOT NECESSARY!!!!! Although I realise that most people love that book, so maybe it simply was because I studied it!)
Or Chaucer...cos I studied the General Prologue to the Canterbury Tales and that was still friggen AWESOME!
Actually, I generally find that 'classics' often just suck. Because Don Quixote was pretty damn painful too...or maybe that's just a trend with my spanish lit subjects hmmmm....I always make a point of trying to finish books, but Don Quixote is the only one I can remember not finishing out of painful boredom!

I didn't study dispossessed, Miss Dragon, though I did study of mice and men... admittedly I never read it, I just watched the flick, which wasn't too bad.

A: Liking Chaucer also conferrs awesome points due to the icecream in it, and the Wife of Bath's tale is very re-tellable
B: Despite being ill for most of it, had a good weekend, helped 2 friends (who didn't know eachother before I interfered mwahaha) solve a mutual problem, managed to repack everything into my bags before I travel later today/tomorrow and managed to meet some very friendly squirrels who told me to hide lots of nutella in Aston's house
