Hi! I'm really new at this but, considering that I'm a Leo with an Aries/Mars decanate and was born on a Tuesday (Aries/Mars again), my next logical step has to be fire dancing. Always loved the primal quality to fire dance and can't wait to get good enough to show off a bit!

I'm getting a bit nervous!!! Got my first belly dancing performance this Saturday to a crowd of probably about 200.

Tomorrow's the big day huh? I'm willing to bet all the money and possessions that I have that you'll be (and look!) absolutely amazing m'lady!! You'll have to get someone to take loads of pictures!
Tomorrow's also my first spinny gig type-thingy. My friend helps run a charity for teenagers to get them into studios to make music and such, and he asked a couple of us to come spin for the bands and DJ's he's been helping. It was supposed to be just with glow toys, but they've decided they want fire now.... I'm blimmin' terrified!!

Thanks so much, Chelle...and everyone...and I do, indeed intend for their to be many pictures taken...I'm handing my daughter the camera with free reign!!!
If I can figure out how to do it, when the DVD copy comes back, I'll rip mine and my partners' performance and post it!!! ...be really brave!!!

It went wonderfully, thank you...and I'm most definitely hooked!!! Already signed up for the next series of classes and we'll have another performance at the end of that...in another 8 weeks...
When I feel a little more like I can remember how to fix my gallery pics to have more space, I'll post a couple from last night...right now, I'm just too tired!!! Stayed up a bit late after getting home...talking to a certain Aussie hippie...

Well, if I can figure out how, once I get my DVD, I'll post the dance, itself. Will just have to figure out how to rip only that one part from it...Not tried doing anything like that, yet...
Will be another performance after the next series of classes...so next time I think I'll direct Brandi a bit more on how to take the pics...most of the shots were a bad angle and too many that looked almost exactly alike...but she tried...can't complain too much...
