Hey Everyone!
well I thought I would start a thread for the upcoming CG.
All we have locked in for now is the date;
Friday to Monday, 2nd to the 5th October.

***UPDATE***
most of the tickets are now sold.
ALL TICKETS NOW SOLD
Please do not pass on ticketing info to people who have not bought tickets, if you put money in our account and have not confirmed with Kate, then we will send you back the money minus postage.
It looks like this coming CG09 will be the last big CG that Katinca and I organise for a while (perhaps someone else will take up the torch?) - cuz Katinca and I need a bit of time for travel and getting our land in order. However, we have a lot of very special ideas for this CG which will probably make it better than it's ever been before, so if you are still tossing up whether you want to come this year or not, you really should come.

Facebook ticketing app is in its final stages of implementation - we are just working through a few details before throwing the switch! probly mid-week.
I'll ask BenJaMen to post details to the CG Event on FB for those who havent already subscribed to it.

I don't know if I did it right, I don't usually use paypal as I don't have a credit card... It didn't ask for an address yet charged postage? Is it pick up at the gate again or are you actually mailing them out??

you can use paypal without a credit card - it just debits it straight from your account...i think you need to set that up first though

Yeah, can take a few days for the transaction to go through though, I think... which is no good to me if I'm anxious to buy CG tickets.... in that case mumsy is the saviour!

MNS - the "postage" charge covers the paypal fees
The paypal integration means that a names list is automatically generated based on what you put in the box so that Josh and Kate dont have the task sending lots of emails, checking bank statements and then sifting through all the emails and compiling a door list.
Flynt - you can buy tickets without being on Facebook

Also the site was only posted on facebook late this afternoon and already 42 of 150 tickets have been sold !!

Hi Everyone,
We are using paypal this year to try and lessen the amount of work the old ticketing system had - and yes it was alot of work.
Let us know how you go, if you do have any probs you can always email me at the hotmail address, and we will try and sort it out.
