Hey dude, welcome to HOP, you'll find many people here who care to say hello, myself included. You'll enjoy yourself here, so feel free to jump right in, this is probably one of the friendliest bunches of people on the internet.
And for your information, Marmite and Vegemite are yeast extracts that you spread on bread, crackers, your lover or whatever else you please. From what I understand, Marmite is slightly more concerntrated than Vegemite, meaning it's taste is slightly stronger. If you want to know what it's like, imagine a strange, very salty almost acrid tasting thick, black butter-like substance. In my opinion, it is the greatest savoury condiment there is, there is nothing quite like it, so I recommend you get hold of some when you can, although a word of warning, you don't need much, it's very strong tasting, and can take a bit of getting used to.
Oh, and Australian's are strangely patriotic about Vegemite, even though it is now owned by the American multinational corporation, Kraft.

yum a yeast extract... as good as that sounds i think i might have to pass on it lol... but ill try it atleast once. its one of my goals to go scuba the great reaf so maybe ill try some over there in ausi? thanks much fer the welcome

thanks for all the welcomes. destroyers might be big... but come on its godzilla. the only advantage the destroyers have is they can fly... if godzilla could fly it would be over before it even started. and would your lover really want you to you spread a yeast extract all over them?
