Zephyring along

'ello! -looks about curiously- I've known of HoP for quite some time now but only created an account recently when pestering a member of our university's juggling club to invest in more poi. Of course, since I'm the only poiist, this requires a lot of pestering...

(Also, I know some HoPers, who may or may not ever let me live this down.)

But yes. I got into poi this summer after having picked up an interest in glowstringing, and much to the chagrin of some, I found pure poi to be more suited to what I liked. I found it smoother. But as spinning (glowsticks, poi, whatever) has been my gateway slowly out of self-consciousness and back into dance & movement, I'm not picky! I love it all. Even if I'm a rather hopeless newb at it, I promote it vigorously. Especially to those in our university who would go "Po-what?" when I explain why I'm in the juggling club. wink

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) Be stable and do some good along the way...environmental policy/advocacy work.
