Okay, so when I was in Ireland I was most surprised to be greeted by Ado-p playing one of my favorite card games, Munchkin.

Anyone else on here play?

What's your fav and/or least fav?

I think Star Munchkin is a freakin' riot, and is probably my favorite, though I do love that level 18 Gazebo in traditional.
We just got Munchkin Booty and haven't played yet, so I can't say absolutely yet.

My least fav is Munchkin Bites. Whenever I've played it just drags and drags, but we found that with a blender it works really well with traditional Munchkin or with Cthulu.

So...anyone else or are Ado and I the only dorks?

lol

Munchkin is this really awesome "combat" and strategy card game that comes in boxed sets all based on making fun of movie/tv genre themes.
It's alot like Magic:The Gathering only alot sillier and more fun.

For example, I can play the Ray Gun card which is worth 2points in the Star Munchkin game, but if my name is (Ray, Rae, Rei, or any other spelling of the name) then I get an extra point.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munchkin_(card_game)

I am such a dork and fem-geek, which I'm told is pretty cool since it's a rarity wink

BTW, everyone *loved* the wand and oh...the ideas it has inspired! hug

Yay Pink!

The Good, the Bad and the Munchin is so much fun. The "steads" in it are a riot.

Cthulu isn't a huge fav of mine, but with a blender pack, it and Bites are a bunch of fun together. You'll have to give it a go.

We're playing Munchkin Booty tomorrow. I'll report back on it.

And for general knowledge, if it's any interest to anyone, there are....

Munchkin (normal)- based on fantasy/ dungeons and dragons genre
Munchkin Impossible- based on Bond and spy genre
Munchkin Fu- it's all about the ninjas baby
Star Munchkin- star wars/trek was never so much fun
Munchkin Cthulu- 'nuff said methinks
Munchkin Bites- a complete mockery of the Vampire/White Wolf games
Super Munchkin- comic heroes and all we wish we never were
The Good, The Bad, and The Munchkin- what westerns wish they were
Munchkin Booty- ahoy there, all it's missing is Johnny Depp (maybe)

Collect them all! (we did! laugh3 )

I would have to say Munchkin (the original)
and Munchkin Fu are my favorites...

I've never played Bites or Star Munchkin actually.

The games are a buncha fun to play, good party game.... You know, if it's a party of nerds/geeks/dorks such as I.

Occasionally we play a few rounds of Munchkin in leiu (loo?) of RPG'ing (DnD 2nd, 3rd, 3.5, SW D20 (normal not that new Saga nonsense), etc etc...).

Okay, just got done playing Booty.

Such a blast.
You can have ships and accents (instead of a stead and a race).
The Shark "bad guys" are so funny.
I like much.

Meshunderlay, if you are playing in loo, then I'm scared. I usually like to play in my living room, not my bathroom tongue2 wink
