Has anyone seen any of these guys films?
They are identical twins from czechoslovakia which make really crazy surreal stop frame animations. The tool videos seem to have drawn their inspiration heavily from the brother quay films.
I watched the 10 part collection VHS and was totally blown away. I watch a lot of amateur short films and a few obscure art films and I have never imagined I would ever see anything like this in my life. They are really masterful at their craft to. It's not just a matter of dreaming up really weird and freaky looking stuff. They do all kinds of amazing stuff with camera focus and movement that you rarely see in stop frame let alone regular cinema. I guess the whole point of this thread is to reccomend it to those who haven't seen it and see if anyone else has watched it.
