In case anyone else is having the same problem:
I recently noticed that embedded videos weren't displaying properly in the latest FF2 under winXP: nothing after the first embedded video was shown. I didn't realise anything was missing until I quoted a post that turned out to have 3 embedded videos - the html for all 3 was there.
I don't know what was causing it but upgrading to FF3 has fixed it.

hmm can't really comment as I am on FF3 already. The only prob with embedding I had was the regional marker for YouTube (i.e. using "uk." instead of "www.")
