Hi Salt.

Have a look at the events and gatherings section...There is an active thread on Monday nights Juggle Jam at the Southbank Piazza... yes it very much still happens, though it is not fire.

And a gathering on Tuessdays at Mowbray Park, though that is quite small. There is a thread about that too.
The big one, monthly Moonfest at Shorncliffe, no longer happens; the Firetricks chaps may still meet on Full Moon in
West End... I havne;t been there for ages though, always been something else on... have a look at their forum....

Hey this is really strange. I clicked on this thread in the meet others section, and yet at the top now it is linked as being in events and gatherings....



And when I go to Events and gatherings I can;t see a thread, yet it is shown as 'the most recently posted ' thread in that section in the overall threads view. IF you know what I mean. And one time I looked there seemed to be a thread somewhere as well with slightly different posts...

that happened to me too, gabe... I tried posting in it a couple times, but with a combo of other people (you and joel) beating me to the punch and it skipping around all over the place, I gave up...

I tried to edit my earlier post to include a link to Firetricks Full Moon gathering and it came up that I wasnt; allowed to



SO I've made this post.

23rd Jan is the next West End gathering. SOunds good, I will try to be there.



AND one thing you might gather from all this, Salt, is that us Brissy types are ever so helpful and friendly IF somewhat occassionally confused....

Nevermind, we are here now Yup yup, jugglejam & full moons are definitely worth a look.

Hello

I'll be coming over from London to Australia in late Feb.

Doing to Fremantle first, then Byron Bay then Brisbane to fly back on 23rd April (with possibly a few unscheduled stops on the way)!

I don't know anyone over there so hopefully will catch some of you for a spin before heading back

(Any suggestions of places in Byron & Fremantle also greatfully received)
