Hi all twirlers!
Would like to introduce myself and make new friends. My name is Paulino (aka: 'Faisca' in the COL 6 DVD), from the Philippines and I've just arrived to London and will be staying here for the next year or so.
A little about myself - we have a poi company back home (www.planetzips.com / planetzips.multiply.com) and I really miss being part of a poi community! I'm looking for kindred spirits who like to have a good time and to show me around London. Aside from poi, I enjoy listening/playing music (drums/djembe), photography, surfing, capoeira, chess and yoga! I'm looking forward to learning how to contact juggle soon.
I love music in general, but nothing beats the energy of a live concert with a loud guitar and drum set echoing through a stadium.. or the bass of a club/beach party pulsing through me on the dance floor or w/ sand under my feet (even better with a pair of fire poi in my hands!).
I'm currently an MA student in Goldsmiths, Univ. of London in New Cross, East London. So if anybody is around this area it would be great to meet up and spin!

ps: I was here two years ago and went to Liverpool St to spin with some people, however the other night when I passed by - I saw that there's a new mall where the market used to be! Could anyone tell me where the meet ups have moved to?
