Posted: I am going to be filmming a fire spinning show in a downtown urban setting in low light with nearby street lights and car head lights. I am using an XL2 with standard lens. I would like to see the faces and bodies of those I am filmming. It's for an independent film and the audience needs to see the actors expressions and emotions. Any suggestions on how to light this? I am the permit holder for the show and have several shows to get everything right.

Posted: Well, I suppose you could put a few small torches in front of the stage/area they are performing. I've seen it done many times before.
