that first video is...well, everything i just said! my eyes feel like they're still spinning so i haven't got to the second one yet...but i am proud to say that i've seen you do some of this crazy stuff in person...abso-freakin-lutely AWESOME! do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

FeuerKunst Berlin is the proper name, FireKunst is a hybrid to save English speakers the embarrasment of trying to say *feuer* properly.
It is an 11 day gathering where spinners camp together and create a show under the delightful direction of Sista Firewire and Glittertill, amongst others, which gets presented at Berlin Lacht street theatre festival This year is in June.
I didn't be in the actual event last year, I joined in for the repeat of the show at SOMA festival. Loved it. What a beautiful bunch of people!

some really sweet stuff there. i don't even play with sticks and have been resisting the urge due to toy overload, but then i see stuff like that and i just want to grab a dowl from the hardware store...thanks for sharing.

Thank you Kyle and everyone involved in this beautiful video. Watching that was like going to Church for me this SUnday morning, I have a deep sense of respect and love for us all, us frail little flowers, all of us.
The one true thing about us coming together is that we will separate again. May we never stop coming together.
And something else that really hit me watching that... my connection all of us spin and play in our own ways... not about who's better or cleverer or bendier or prettier or any of it.. just love for people who get out there and move together.
