I've been browsing these forums for a while now. Been practicing poi since last summer although admittedly I didn't touch them all through winter so I guess in total its been about 2 months worth of practice. Got most of the basic moves down and some more advanced shizzle like a BTB 3bw... oh yes.
Still trying to master a 5bw and get some more transitions thrown in here and there aswell as more behind the head / back stuff. Been trying isolations all day today and it still hasn't clicked. This is more frustrating than not getting laid...
I've tried fire poi a few times and have invested in my own which had their first burning this evening, BEAUTIFUL. Love them.
Trying to practice some stuff off of the scales of poi dvd... excellent. though my hands seem to completely ignore my brain at times and well... i have a bloody long way to go :-D
I would like to thank everyone for their adfvice on here, I defiantely know where to come when i get a bit stuck!

fave movies: The Lord Of War, Amore es Perros, Layer Cake, anything by Tarantino... finding nemo :-S lol
music: mostly heavy metal type stuff, electronic and dub step.
Food: anything edible... i'm not picky!
Books: The Wasp Factory
