About the Instructor Chris Bailey (aka, Rovo) is a self-taught poi spinner from upstate NY who began spinning poi in July of 2003. After spending over two years practicing alone, Chris traveled to Toronto and Montreal to attend workshops with Nick Woolsey in the fall of 2005. Having met his greatest inspiration in the poi world, Chris began traveling to meet other poi spinners all over the Eastern U.S. Since then, Chris has taught large workshops in Boston, Richmond and Atlanta, and also has performed at various music festivals.
Over the past couple of years, Chris has gained a level of notoriety in the online poi community for videos he has posted on various forums. Here are some links to a couple of those videos:

Posted: Mer's awesome, and she can def keep you in touch with whats going on spin jam wise down there. I haven't really had much contact with the DC and Baltimore Fire Communities but I have heard lots of wonderful things about them!
Hopefully you can make it back in time for the workshops. If not I'm sure we'll run into each other sometime or another.
