Hey all,
I'm running my next round of beginners courses, and also running an intermediate/advanced course too.
The quick details....
Beginners Course:
£75 / £65 (Concessions for students or regular Thursday attendees)
7 weeks – Will take you from complete/near beginner and teach you all the foundation moves to get you spinning happily and well
Intermediate Course:
£65 / £60 (Concessions for students or regular Thursday attendees)
6 weeks: Each week focusing on a different “concept” – flowers & long-arm, anti-spin, planes & body position, tangles (hyperloops/airwraps), tech moves (hybrids, 1.5’s, poly-rhythm etc), Performance technique (and a quick section on throws & contact-poi) – and will look at the theory behind each one and teach you loads of variations and moves.
For the intermediate course only, if you’d like to attend one specific class – you can do for £12.
Classes for both courses will be 2-hours and I can provide you with practice poi. They’re to be held in the Riverside Centre (same place as the Thursday meets) – there’s a map on our website (www.burnttoast.co.uk) under “Weekly Meetings”
