Toys: poi, staff, - want to try flaming Chinese stick and string tops
Hobbies other than the obvious: yoga, martial arts, snowboarding, weights, dancing with my gorgeous wife on Sats, spending time with my beautiful little boy.
Education: too much
Favorite Book(s): dont think I have one
Favorite Movie(s): same as above
Favorite TV show(s): only watch 1$ pirated DVDs
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) (btw, this question is still relevant even at my age). After hours club for Shanghai dancers and burners featuring a stage with back lit, semi transparent shadow curtain, for flame dancers.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: melodic, anthem, psytrance, psyambient, ambient
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): vanilla
I am a newbie poi and newbie fire staff ( but did practice martial arts staff 20 years ago), having recently been bitten by the bug (saw flaming poi / sword performers at outdoor party in Goa this past xmas). My wife is former DJ and dancer and still the most amazing dancer in Shanghai. We both love outdoor dance cam and the openess and friendliness of everyone.
I guess lots of you are half my age. Dont think only has to be a stage you pass through, try to keep this part of your life always.
I have went to raves 15 years ago and ocassionally since then. But my recent trip to Goa (our second time), was very interesting and rekindled this part of me - it was rather spiritual. And for a non spiritual guy like me, this is saying a lot.
