basicly i have two 4.1 surround sound systems in my house.................i got bored today and have linked BOTH up as one rig. i KNOW i'm only running at half the output but even still it's BLOODY LOUDubblol

i would like to know the cheapest amp to use to maximise the output to it's full potential biggrin

How have you linked them? Is it from your PC or something else?

it's from my PC all i did was get some split adaptors and piggy backed both sets from the same ports so it's halfed the output i know i just need to know how to increase output so it's working at 100%

No idea, but I have a surround sound system hooked up to my comp too. My brother did it for me when he last visited, sounds spankin', great bass ;-)

i've got double the system lokii 2x subs and 8 mid and trable speakers, sharing the same channel so it's halfed the output.

anyone know if you can get cheap amps to so i run from my PC to the amp then into the speakers

i get the gist of what your talking about..

the stereo recievers you have hooked up to your computer are off a y output from your sound card, halving the signal. you can't really amp just that. and your stereo recievers are just amping the signal to the speakers. i'd just leave it how it is. if you have a soundcard that has a front output and a rear output, use one output for each stereo reciever. most soundcards like that have software that allows "processing" to the rear channel or you can set it to straight clone outputs.

let me know if this makes sense, i can explain it better once i wake up somemore!

i've got my computer hooked up to my pioneer mixer and KRK studio monitors, it sounds so nice!

I've never seen a supernova blow up, but if it's anything like my old chevy nova it'll light up the night sky!

clap wooooooooooooo it works now, i now have BOTH subs working, i try'd using both front and back outputs but one cancled the other out, so replugged in the original outputs but discovered i had used an input in an output jack biggrin

typical i just bout to recomend getting a power amp and hooking that up to ur pc allows you to record and have greater volume depth wink sorry i works as a music technicain

i'd still like to amp it up mike, any reccomendations as to a small amp that won't cost the earth i can use???
