Hi I'm Jude

This is a really interesting site, especially for me as I have the poi, Ihave the enthusiasm but not the talent (yet!). Would love how to do poi or any other stuff really, fed up of being in awe of the crazy folk who always entertain and make the atmosphere amazing at parties and festivals. So can anyone out there help me?? Especially if you are from Dorset. I'd love someone to teach me.

A bit about me - I am 33 and a teacher, I've just got back from 2 years away in SW China (the REAL China) where I was doing volunteer work. I also managed to travel round Asia during that time, and that's where I really fell in love with poi, especially on the beach in Thailand. It's a bit weird to be back in the UK (but nice too!) so I wanna get out there and do stuff rather than sit around all day being boring!!

So anyway, that's me!!

Just literally got started - bought some poi but can only do the most basic of the basic things with them. Would love to learn some more interesting moves and eventually do fire poi!!
