I've been looking for them for a while here, but I think the heat may have them in hiding. Any help on sightings?

Anyway, hi, I'm brand new to this whole thing, and struggling to find my way around. Can you tell? This could possibly be the BEST website in the whole of cyberspace though.....

Peace and chocolate,

Chelle

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

OK guys, here's a little update!!

Name: Chelle (AKA chelly, chellybean, smelly, oi! or anything else that comes to mind....)

Location: highlands, scotland

Hometown: Nairn

DOB: 12 Dec 1981

Age: 24

Sex: Huh, huh, huh, you said sex.......

Occupation(s): daydreaming fairy

Favorite Food(s): ooo, does peanut butter count?

Favorite Color(s): purple, red and blue - oh yes, and I like green and yellow and orange and pink........

Toys: poi (duh), guitar, bucket and spades....

Hobbies other than the obvious: Music. Any form, any time. Festivals, paddling, climbing trees (if I don't fall - and even sometimes when I do..), dancing, making jewellery, travelling. My guitar and cameras are fun too.

Education: Was OK thanks. Did quite well.

Favorite Book(s): Catch 22. Also all Oor Wullie annuals!!!

Favorite Movie(s): Leaning towards A Night At The Roxbury at the moment. And of course, Amelie.

Favorite TV show(s): South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Prison Break, Big Love, CSI, anything on National Geographic..

Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I'm not going to grow up. But maybe complimentary therapies.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Oh lord, this wouldn't fit into a novel. I love music. Period.

Favorite ice cream flavor(s): Why do I have to make such tough decisions? Um, either cherry or pistachio.

Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? (please choose one...this is important as it is essentially this site's equivalent of stating your religion...we have religious wars, crusades, cathedrals to Nutella, all that.) What does vegemite taste like? I've never tried it. Likewise with marmite. I like nutella though, it's well tasty.......

woo hoo!!!!! Now you know all about me - it's your turn!!

Either is good. My friend made an alien head from a balloon and papier mache (I know it's not spelled correctly) and attached it to her stomach of her outfit via a kitchen roll tube thingy and went as one of the characters from an Alien movie. That made me giggle a lot! ubblol

Maybe a fairy would be good for you though - perhaps some wire, mesh and glitter to make some wings? hug

I'm not doing halloween this year, methinks I'm getting a little too old for trick or treating, and the pubs here are quite rubbish anyway. I may buy a mask just to scare the kids next door, and maybe a pumpkin (cause I like to carve them and make pies), but that'll be as much as I do. hug

Apparently. But if I nearly missed it, then the clocks should go back soon.

If you put the clocks back far enough then you could have October again smile

Or maybe just get back in time to walk your doggy biggrin hug

Funnily enough, he never forgets my birthday! (I have a sneaking suspicion that it's really my mum who buys the present and signs it "from Harry". I don't think he can hold a pen, or spend monies for that matter...)rolleyes

ubblol A friend sent me these little factoids about my fellow countrymen (and women), which I thought were funny enough to share...

3 Scots die each year testing if a 9v battery works on their tongue.

142 Scots were injured in 1999 by not removing all pins from new shirts.

58 Scots are injured each year by using sharp knives instead of screwdrivers.

31 Scots have died since 1996 by watering their Christmas tree while the fairy lights were plugged in.

19 Scots have died in the last 3 years believing that Christmas decorations were chocolate.

Scottish Hospitals reported 4 broken arms last year after Xmas cracker-pulling accidents.

18 Scots had serious burns in 2000 trying on a new jumper with a lit cigarette in their mouth.

A massive 543 Scots were admitted to A&E in the last two years after trying to open bottles of beer with their teeth.

5 Scots were injured last year in accidents involving out-of-control Scalextric cars.

and finally...

In 2000 eight Scots were admitted to hospital with fractured skulls incurred whilst throwing up into the toilet.

Aaah - proud to be Scottish! ubblol

heya =) aren`t crisps exactly the same as chips?
and what is up with the vinegar flavoured crisps confused oooh, and marmite umm one spoonful was all it took for the aweful taste to last trough the day.. other than that, i`m still in love with england smile

How`s things going chelly?

You're not meant to eat marmite by the spoonful. You're meant to spread a tiny amount of it on toast/bread/toasted bread.

it's good for you, full of zinc. Just eat it and be quiet. It's far better in the long run.

hug

Not entirely sure why you're blaming it on England though. I'm pretty sure we didn't do it.

Plus Miss Chelly is a Scot and may take offense to being lumped in with us English miscreants (them scots area funny bunch, prone to stroppage wink)

And chips are only the same as crisps if you're American, Canadian or - for some ungodly reason - Australian.

To us chips are what seems to be known in slower, more devious nations as French Fries. Don't really know why. But i think perhaps they had already used the word "chips" when they were naming crisps and were too embarrassed to change the labels.

just a theory.
