To all fire travellers to Barcelona: Have just left there for a month, will be returning v soon. The regular firetwirling nights in the Ciutadella park have been toned down due to local complaints, but gatherings still evident on Sunday afternoons. Also, on the 11th of June on the beach front near Ciutadella park there will be a full moon party [which I will miss
] which should have much cheer and fire twirling, as well as people to liase with. If you can't waite till then, go down to the markets held every day in June in the harbour between Barcelonetta and the Barcelona Aquarium to find Buzz, a lovely and lively conversationalist (in English!!!) who sells fire twirling and juggling equipment. He should be able to provide more details, a friendly smile and probably a spontaneous juggling session right there in the marketplace.
