Hi,
My name is Sharon. I am 42, pagan, an EMT/FF, animal rescuer,vocalist, and drive a school bus for a living. I am hoping to learn Poi (so far I'm trying not to hit myself or wrap them around my neck). I have some really hard raquetball type on chains to practice with. Great incentive to do it right!!! I find it to be a beautiful art. I'm married with 4 girls and soon to be a grandmother! Wow time flys! I took a couple lessons a few years ago, but was unable to continue at the time. I am hoping to find others in the greater Houston area to learn and spin with. My favorite colors are burgundy/purple/deep - pinks/blues. My favorite book "The Mists Of Avalon". Music - rock/pop/blues/new age/tribal. Flavor: the one and only food group (behind pasta)CHOCOLATE and then maybe caramel/butterscotch. Movies:dramas that make you think. TV: MASH,medical (ER),detective,ScFi-Trekie,paranormal, Miami Ink, nature based documentaries. I like hiking (slowly as partially disabled),and cruising on my motorcycle. I like going to drum circles even though I suck at drumming myself. I have to be careful of driving after drum circles. I have a tendency to slide into trance IF the energy is right, then I feel like I'm drunk behind the wheel. Nutella! Got hooked on it while living in Germany! Yummy for breakfast especially!
