Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.
Location: Logan City, south of Brisbane, QLD, Oz.

Age: 36 and counting...

Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.

Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...

That reminded me of my old work. They used to play michael jackson soo much and everytime he went to say that line, me and my friend would drop what we were doing and run to each other and sing/say it as loud as me could ..then crack up and get funny looks from customers haha aah was funny.

By the way Pat I've seen some really good glowy poi made entirely out of sock or fabric with those glowsticks inserted in them.. Kind makes it look like the light is intense down the end of the sock, fading up towards your hands.. try white socks maybe. Looks cool, but obviously only a temporary type of deal. I can bring my proper glowy poi into Juggle on Monday if you wanna play with them?
