Hi all... I am a complete newbie to poi, fire twirling and anything/everything related. In fact, I'll only even see it in real life for the 1st time next Friday (making it down to the Moon Fest on north side of Brissie).
Anyway, this is me...
Name: Pat... but Pogo to those that know me well.

Occupation(s): Computer Programmer. Worked for myself from home for 2 1/2 years, but have recently had to get a "real" job.
Favorite Food(s): Hmmm... pretty much anything, really.

Toys: Acoustic guitar, Classical guitar, 3 electric guitars, 2 djembes.
Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Reading, Keeping fit (hmmm, not so much of the keeping fit, actually)
Education: Did Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science and Pure Maths. Then Grad Dip Appl Computing... then started a research masters, but gave it away when life got in the way.
Favorite Book(s): Have to get back to you on that one... The Anarchist was the last book I read, quite liked it.
Favorite Movie(s): Lots... Fight Club, Snatch, Lock Stock..., Finding Nemo, Pulp Fiction, Pay It Forward...
Favorite TV show(s): Don't watch tv.
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) I really... wish... I knew.

hey pip... ye, for now... it's going, but still got problems... battery had drained (yet again, prolly due to the central locking having a mind of it's own and locking/unlocking itself all day, every day) and it wouldn't take a charge...
new battery and hopefully central locking fixed, the jerry will start and perform locomotion in both a forward and reverse direction
still need to fix whatever it is that makes it sound like a 3tonne diesel truck (no, it's not a 3tonner and it's not diesel), which is probably the coil pack that I've done nothing about since knowing it had a problem a year ago... and have the power steering fixed (although I'm likely building up some fine arm/shoulder muscles, driving it as I am right now, with no power steering... damn thing is *SO* heavy)

Don't worry about the power steering, Pat. Some of us would like the results.

Lmfao *rolls around on the floor in stitches* i think that has to be the funniest thing i have seen in a very long time. Someone has really had a lot of pent up aggression directed to poor little bunnies.

ahh, it's nice to be missed, paul... nope, I'm still in the land of the living, barely... I was in sydney from monday arvo till last night, so no HoPpage...
and what with not having posted/visited a great deal over the weekend, I've been having definite withdrawal symptoms...
oh, and paul... there's no such thing as HoP poisoning... lou obviously made that up just to scare ya...
