hello everyone,
just wanted to greet all you lovely shiney people and tell you a bit about little ol me. Im from staffordshire and have been a swinger (poi!) for about 4 years. Im 23 and have a tendancy to get involved in anything alternative. Just quit uni to go bk and work with teenagers in community projects as its the best job in the world, other than proffesional poi-ing. aside form circus arts i like martial arts, painting, dancing (in a crazy person on the bus way) jazz, sunshine, cheese and crackers, my 23 year old mk 1 golf, and above all, meeting happy non judgemental people that smile alot. my best piece of advice to anyone is live every day like its your last. enjoy your day people and if anyone wants to get in touch, pm me. lots of smiles to you all. mere (pronounced merry)

thankyou for your welcomes, ive been doing the smiling thing all day, and im glad to say ive spead the happy virus to quite a few people.
iv also decided that people who play with poi (and or most circus art) have a genetic disposition to be fabulous.
its the new chicken or the egg
are we nice because we swing and spin or do we spin because we're nice and like fun, answers on a post card (or a simple reply to this)

fave ice cream - dark chocolate

marmite/vegemite - not so keen
fave books- barefoot doctors urban warrior guide
fave films - so many- shawshank redemption, seven, crouching tiger hidden dragon. (too many to mention)

Im in stoke, so not far away. i travel to wolverhampton quite regularly so its no problem for me.
lets hope this brilliant sunshine continues, then theres a lot more scope for swinging without hyperthermia.
