Here’s the details of the next Intermediate Poi Spinning courses...
Intermediate Poi courses April: Weds (Camden Town) 7:30 - 9:30pm. Starts 5th April May: Weds (Camden Town) 7:30 - 9:30pm. Starts 24th May Courses run for 6 weeks and are priced at £75 (concs avail). Exact directions to the venue are provided once you have booked a place.
The Intermediate course focuses on how to invent new tricks and develop your own style, helping you make poi your own. Each lesson will explore a new concept, (for example alternating, take outs, mixing planes etc) using several tricks as examples, that will enable you to invent your own moves based on that concept. The course will also look at new tricks such as waist wraps, stops, push thrus and behind the back weave.
Your teacher will be Kevin Shaw Kevin has been juggling for over 14 years and has been teaching and performing all over the world. He has taught several thousand students, both informally and at juggling workshops, and is generally acknowledged to be both a cutting edge spinner and an excellent teacher.

Posted: Still places left! Heres what others have said about the Intermediate course...
"After taking the intermediate course, I am getting so much better now and learned not only new tricks, but how to MAKE my own tricks. Go to the course even if you are shy because I'll tell you, you will learn whatever you set your goals on! Rave-on and happy spinning!!!!" Katie Brown
I joined up for the intermediate classes and initially thought that I would know all the moves and probably wouldn't learn anything new. How wrong I was. The classes opened up a whole side of poi spinning I never imagined existed. I developed my own unique style and soon had the confidence to try making up moves of my own and pursue professional performing. I would and do recommend anyone at any level to participate in these classes." Monique Aislabe
