Well, since I'm new to the HOP forums I figured that I would introduce myself, half-following the suggested things to tell you about meself, and pointing out whatever else I feel that you need to know about me. A lot of this is copy/pasta'ed from my other information/bio pages, so if anything is repeated please bear with it.

Name: Air`leth Siochan Aodhfin
Country: Canada.
Hometown: I live in North York.
DOB: August 30'th
Sex: Oh, my!
Occupation(s): Student, Musician, Drifter/Vagbond/Troublemaker
Favorite Food(s): Anything vegan, especially Pad Thai.

I’m a strange mixture of a wild assortment of things. I know several languages, and indulge in all things artistic.

I'm vegan.

I've presently got 12 piercings in.

I’m a hippie/goth/celt/gypsy/art-music kid.
I love having fun, and attending events like Drum Circle, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and whatever else. Also, I’m a big fan of NewMindSpace parties, and try to attend all of Kevin and Lori’s events as well.

I’m absurdly ecclectic, especially musically, and can spend hours on end playing/listening to music.

Presently I play an assortment of flutes and whistles, the Great Highland Pipes, Mandolin, Bass Guitar, and some Didgeridoo. I also throatsing. smile
I used to play weekly pubsessions and Ceilidhs at Dora Keogh's (Broadview and Danforth).

I’m very friendly and easygoing, so if you want to talk just send me a message or something and I’ll get back to you ASAP.

Hi and welcome to HoP Air'leth wave! You've got a very nice name.. Any pronunciation guide for a person who wouldn't usually go cad é mar a tá tú? ubbangel

I must say you sound quite fascinating.. still digesting your intro. Though. I never thought I'd ever see a list of music putting Chris De Burgh eek together with Sigur Ros.. umm

Hey Ry. My name is surprisingly easy to pronounce: Air`leth is actually somewhat anglicized, so it results in being pronounced the way its spelled. Siochan is pronounced "shee-ock-awn", and my surname is pronounced "ayfinn".

Again, I have _very_ ecclectic tastes in music. That isn't even everything that I listen to. Just a sampling, I suppose, to give others an idea of what I listen to. :3

Hi Air'leth, welcome to HoP!!

Have you read 'The New Policeman' by Kate Thompson? It's a children's book, but it's absolutely enchanting! It's set in Kinvara on the edge of the Burren, and the story is constructed around traditional reels and jigs - it's beautiful! ... and all your instruments and the Ceilidhs made me think of it... smile

Anyway, hope you have a lovely time here!

everyone's unique except me

Hi Nephtys-- I have not read nor have I heard of this book, but I very much enjoy children's literature (providing that the artwork and stories are good wink . It certainly sounds like an interesting book, and if I ever see it around I shall have to pick myself up a copy.

Thank you for the well-wshes. <3
