i suppose all the doom mongers have been up in arms.i heard that a plane had crashed into the site........ then on the news they dismissed it.

i supose if it was a terrorist attack thew wouldn't tell us anyway. i do know it's gonna be burning through the night and possibly most of tomorrow..............they don't have enough " fire retardent material" foam to put it out in one hit

Or you could hover your mouse over the title for a second and find out where it was...

[And they call Americans slow. wink tongue ubbrollsmile]

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

That doesn't work on all computers, with all connections and browsers, like mine.

But then that again would entail thinking from a perspective other than one's own which, as we see, can be challenging here at Home Of English Poi.

How come every single eyewitness to every single explosion in the history of man kind describes it as "A big ball of fire". You think somebody would come up with a different saying.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

I live about 30 miles away and I slept straight through the blast, although my parents were woken up by it.

I took a couple of pictures of the smoke this evening, I hadn't realised the fire was quite so large until I looked out the window and could see smoke drifting across the sky

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Well if I'd have already clicked on the thread I could have just read that too. I extrapolated it from the fact that it wasn't mentioned and therefore must be British.
