I just got a new laptop today as my old one broke, and I accidently set the keyboard on the wrong setting. This means that the symbols on some of the keys are in a different order to the ones when i type. I've spent ages trying to find the setting that will turn it back with no luck, so could someone please, please tell me where it is? thanks!

please say what hardware and software you have when asking about computer problems!

Taking a wild guess, i'd say you're on Windows XP. If that is the case then you'll want to go to control panel > regional and language options > languages > detials > click on add > find English UK > add it and remove anything else you have in the list.

I'm doing this from memory so if it's not right play about a bit or ask again and i'll find a windows PC to work it out on.

Good luck

No worries!

In OS X and every other windows it's really easy to find, but for some reason MS thought hiding it in XP would be fun....

oh well!
