to Dom for pointing this out to me for Yuta for being goddam good at poi (or possibly photo-manipulating, but most probably poi)Seriously though... how good are they?

monkey - do yourself a favour and take the time to go check out the videos on his website too.
if you search for yuta's posts on the board here (there aren't too many
), you should find a post that tells you which of the videos have good bits on them.fast energy filled spinning with ultra-tight planes and stupidly good timing - antispin flowers done fast enough to see the whole pattern's shape!

those patterns are nuts....
finding myself wondering how the pictures are timed so perfectly tho
if his planes are that perfect (or his photographers that snazzy) i'm even more impressed...... (as there's generally no "extras" on the many of the patterns, no starting over stuff messing it up)

i'm assuming trial and error, taking lots of photos, and a fair portion of skill and timing.

yeah, they're all so bloody consistent.....
the multiple wick flowers are just insane.....
photographer should be hugged too tho, not just yuta! dear gods they all stop at the right place.... especially some of those glow ones!

if you take a pic of a flower a beat into it then you get teh full flower with no stops or starts
but that is some awsome work in general
