Hi all. I'm just setting up my own website, charlesdolbel.com (don't bother going there yet, not up and running).

I've got several little MPEGs I'd like to put on it but would prefer to edit thema little, take sound out of some etc etc.

And, most importantly, have my website address in text (or evena clickable link???) at the bottom of each one.

After about an hour searching and searching for a little MPEG editor to let me add text I've come up with nothing. Are there any free ones out there or can anyone suggest a good one to buy for a reasonable price?

Many thanks for any suggestions (except the rude ones )

Cheers

Charles

You should email Bender. He's good with that sort of thing. And he can simplify stuff for you if needs be (into terms even Moon Pixie can understand )

For computer movie help I visit VCD Help. There is a lot of useful information there.

For what you requested I found a Freeware app called Avisynth. The site above has some info about it here:
How to edit with Avisynth
I took a quick look and it seems rather complex but maybe that's just a first glance.

Using the VCD Help site you can eventually create your own Video CDs (using a CD burner) or even DVDs (if you get a DVD burner.) Good luck and keep us posted!

They have another page with tips for using Adobe Premiere. They say a demo is available, but otherwise Adobe products are generally expensive. I'm not sure how much you plan to spend on this.
