Hey peeps... Wehey... My first forum... The love of Poi made me do it!! Just finished doin loadsa Poi at Manchester's Gay Pride, and it rocked... had loadsa people asking me where I learnt... Trouble is... Now in poi comfort zone... wanna learn more... So... Hello and Help!

Yes but Bill Barreta, Dave Goelz and Steve Whitmire do the voices to all of the most important, bestest and favouritest muppets. Steve Whitmire took over doing the voice of Kermit when Jim Henson died
Whilst I'm all in favour of Disney encouraging new talent and giving them opportunities etc, I don't think it's fair that they do that to the detriment and careers of existing performers.

Yup... I agree with Skully on that one... First of all, as a kid, you just love disney, and then, as you grow older, you realise the sinister truth behind it all!! Wasn't he a homophobic Nazi?
Anyways... Practically all big corporations are evil!! 'Profit above people' just isn't a good philosophy! That'll be why I only work for 'Not for Profit' organisations!!

Henson signed up with Disney a few years ago because at the time they didn't have enough money to do their own marketing, produce videos etc. Part of the contract seems to stipulate that they have to produce x number of films and TV series per year.
But i don't see how they now seem to have so much sway over who is employed etc.
