Hey peeps... Wehey... My first forum... The love of Poi made me do it!! Just finished doin loadsa Poi at Manchester's Gay Pride, and it rocked... had loadsa people asking me where I learnt... Trouble is... Now in poi comfort zone... wanna learn more... So... Hello and Help!

Hi all!! This weekend...this weekend...I'm torn between two parties! Some of my firey-friends here in San Francisco are gathering for dinner and clubbing on Saturday. It's a big Halloween blow-out type evening. But also on Saturday is another friend's (non-fire, from college) birthday party in Sebastapol (cute little town about an hour's drive north of San Francisco, in Sonoma County, a really lovely area). I can't decide what to do! I'll probably go to the birthday celebration.
It's that and cleaning up my btb waist-wrap which I got this past Sunday after six hours of non-stop practice. I got a little obsessed.

See, if one is a gathering, and the other is a birthday, I think you should go to the birthday, now, if both were birthdays, the one with the fire sounds cool!!

My party was lovely; my friend lives on a nice piece of land, with sprawling gardens, dogs, cats and a pony. A bunch of people were there that I haven't seen in a good long while, so it was a nice reunion. I grilled a bunch of meat, we all ate like pigs, then I spun fire for everyone. Good times, good times.

I didn't buy anything, couple of mates just got a new place, and I was takin them down to buy stuff... They bought some box type things, a sideboard thingy, pillows, chopping board... Ummm... some other stuff which I'm forgetting! The good thing is I can come home, and not have to 'erect' all the furniture!!

Sweetie, just had to tell you about my interview tomorrow - it's for e temp post for a couple of months helping in HR with a recruitment drive y'know sening out applications, logging them back in, booking onto interviews and inductions etc - for Chshire Fire Brigade! I think I get to pay them
Gonna ask them if I can vet for the calendar in my own time
