Seeing as i'm new i had to introduce myself.
I'm a bit shy about these types of things but i've heard you are all lovely people.
My name's Rosie, I haven't been spinning for that long but i'm addicted so i'm pickin it up quick enough (despite the bumps and bruses during the learning)
Big shout out to firepoise who gave me my first experience with fire poi (OHH the Noise and the Heat, I loved it!!!), Thanks for being so gentle 
Trying to move to fire poi (as i become more comfortable) because it's so amazing.
p.s. I saw firepoise and firebyrd spin, they are some amazing and talented ladies!

More about myself, hummm. Well today i dressed up as the most colourful stripy golfer and went to attempt to play one hole of golf with a friend who was in as equally crazy dress. Took us half an hour to play one hole. ended up doing silly poses and takin pictures. We got shouted at for being wasters on the course... better than being complete bores like most of the others. ..and someone stole our balls
So i'm 21 and began practising poi with my boyfriend. He'll be joining hop soon so u'll have to say a big howdy to him
I'v saw poi around for a while but it was only on holiday in barcelona when i saw the street preformers using fire poi and i knew i had to learn how to do it.
I just try to do as many funny and silly things as possible even if ppl think we are a bunch of crazies. (especially if we are in the countryside doing things where a bacardi breezer is known as the "fancy stuff")
Going to a tea party on wednesday where i will pass on the good word about poi and the people at HOP.

kitebuggying? (if thats even a word, but it is now in the rosie dictionary) cool. i'd love to do that. i use glow poi for nightime effect if i don't feel confident enough for fire with some moves.
Keep practising and don't get scared cos thats when u get hit. force ur body to do what ur mind tells you.
