hey all, i never seem do too well with the ol' intro' type things on websites - rarely know what to say but, regardless, here goes

currently holding it down on the mean streets of manchestershire. when not out fighting crime i enjoy music, indian food, never knowing where my feet will take me, and talking about myself in third person.

my favourite things? probably hecticiticy, colour, sound. smiles, eyes that flicker under moon light, sunrises. and listening to music floating on a breeze

hobbies and Interests, nothing much to be honest...bit of shark taunting, chainsaw fencing, and rooftop stilt disco dancing. who can blame me?

welcome to HoP biggrin tongue

would you be up for a manchester meet sometime soon? manchester people are thinking of possibly the 17th. i'm taking a slight guess that you know where picadilly gardens is, and if not, then one or a few of us will come and meet you at a bus stop/trainstop or at the stop of whatever you take to get into town smile

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

as it goes i might have to give up on the glade, i only got the ticket a couple days ago and i'm not sure if work will let me take the time off - a bit the wrong way round really. if they wont then i'll be up here on the 17th...nice to know i'll have something to do either way smile

i work 9-5 (monday-friday) in the city centre so i'm always about somewhere, as i'm new to poi i'm spendin time in parks trying to learn how to spin rather than hit myself in the face or head or anywhere else more painful. i'm mostly around platt fields since it's so close to my house and the people i know that spin are away for the summer. any evening or weekend's good for me really, just be cool to get some tips and say hey smile

just down near you i think, platt fields end of Rusholme (that's why i quite like the platt fields idea - it's all of 3 minutes walk from my front door). keep finding myself spinning in smaller parks in town during lunch, and in platt fields in the evening with some tunes. it's been alright so far but i've spent the last few days hiding out under trees during the rain, been damn cold though late on frown

WOW! Look at this.... a "getting to know you" type thread. How lovely.

What a wonderful resource we have here, where members have virtually free-reign within this forum to do and say as they please. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, despite having received a nasty PM from you telling me to get a grip and inquiring as to my mental health. Nice one Osiris.
