Posted: Get a coathanger............. sellotape the drawstring to the end of it and ease it back through. Then tie BIG knots in the ends so it doesn't happen again

With a bit of time u can just poke it round again... then put knots in so it doesnt come back thru. xxx

Posted: get a stick, or a skewer or something like that and tie or sellotape the drawstring to one end. Put the stick into the hole where the draw string came out off and just pull it over until the stick comes out of the other side. pull the stick out. et voila.
Posted: oh - I didn't mention the bit about the coathanger being wire, and the fact you have to unbend it forst. A wooden one is unlikely to fit in the hem though so I figured you'd sort it out
