Posted: hmmmi tried burning salt on a piece of paper and cant get that intense yellow colour ppl say that it givesdoes salt work?how would i put it on a staff?mix in kero?what shoudl i do to get a yellow flame using salt assuming it works?thanks!!!!!!

Posted: TCW: The salt itself won't burn. You've got to disolve it in something that WILL burn before you'll get the color everyone's describing. I've heard that alcohol works acceptably for this purpose. I'll refrain from explaining the chemical processes here, as I'm still a bit vague on them myself...
