Greetings to those residing in the land of HOP.
Vital Stats:-
Name - G (Michael)
Age - 20
Gender - Male
Height - Lack of
Hair - Lots of, Long straight Dark Brown
Location - Nottingham
Likes - Food, food for thought, lightning, pretty flames, the regularity of irregularities
Dislikes - Smokey food, lack of parafin, lack of sleep
Toys - Poi. Been spinning on and off for about 2 years ish I think but never really have any time to practice so have only just reached a point where I can do anything interesting. Have also recently started to learn staff, juggling, double staff and contact juggling.
Places I want to travel - France (gotta love those French, or not) and Russia (don't know why, mainly the way their language sounds)

Hi I'm G or Jesus depending on who you get introduced to me by, I prefer the poi with the fire but am not advesed to picking up a staff or even a contact juggling ball on the odd occasion(ha ha Ben I can do that chest role thing and stuff)but my main passion lies with poi, well I say passion. I pick them up once a week a wander off down to the forest(via smit/kez's/other people's houses)for a bit of spinny spinny, burny burny and well getting cold at this time of year. I live just up the road from the meet which is handy especially when it gets to midnight and you've got to be at work at eight the next morning. Before my Nottingham residence I lived in Blidworth(mmm lovely)near Mansfield and Southwell near Newark(sort of) but initially I hail from the city of Bath upon Avon near Bristol. Ah yes Bath whose Uni are currently top of the league for Mathematics degrees.....hmm I'll bet no-one gives a toss about that, anyway I don't remember a lot about my birth place as I we moved away just before I turned 4...awww. As for my inside leg measurment...you can ask me when we meet but I probably won't know.
A little more about me
err...I love to socialise, spending time with other people is something I do alot of which is why I now need to find my independance. hmm where did I hide it. I love thunderstorms and full moons not because I'm a goth but I find gazing upon a full moon to be the most grounding thing I can do. It just reminds me that this earth is part of a universe beyond our jobs, education and menial day to day activities. Music is very important to me that's why my hi-fi system cost...well never mind. So that's me or what I can think of right now, I'll add stuff as I remember it.

So, in answer to your original cheese question, it depends upon just how many people you're cheesing (yes, of course cheese can be a verb!)

How are you going to cope and to think of all the time and effort you put into retrieving those stars from surrounding galaxys and compacting them in black holes (very dangerous, don't try this without protective goggles!) so that they fitted neatly to the panels of your car 
A round of applause goes out to you for making the effort oh yeah and have one of these
I hate to brag but that outfit did look really good, it gave me the most macho feeling of my life so far.... I'm glad you enjoyed the spectle, perhaps you can teach me some hula in return for the many giggles I'm sure you endured

How on earth do you intend to transport hoops Aunty Lynne? (whoops, that's too much time spent around your sister!) It's not as if they compact simply to fit through a letter box!
Oh don't worry about the hijacking Kelly, it's not exactly the most exclusive thread on hop.

Hey Skully, it doesn't have to be intricate just a large sploge of black then a large sploge of white sort of half and half or maybe the top of the hoop (horizontally speaking) black then the bottom white (obviously reversable being a hoop)
Why don't you do an artists impression of what might be funky but also practical to make and I will cast critisism.....I mean thank you for being cool enough to custom design a fantabulous hoop for me

Bryn dude, that was a brilliant goodbye hug I only just managed to stay upright! Almost made it ok to be leaving the weekend behind 
I would be honered to receive another I do believe.
More psi music eh, well there's an event called psycle that occurs in Nottingham every other month which is crammed full of psi goodness. I'm sure you would be welcome somewhere in Nottingham perhaps even chez G! you'll just have to make it up here sometime.
Which reminds me, for those of you who are not yet aware, we (as in the Nottingham collective) are hoping to enjoy a weekend of spinny goodness commencing on 08/10/05. A one day convention has been arranged for the Sunday (9th) as the first in a series of conventions that will be hosted in the coming months. This first one, however, is planned to be many poi and staff type stuff with workshops and stuff. With this in mind we are hoping to drag people up on the Saturday for a bit of a spin and chill with the possiblility of some general Nottinghamese camraderie Please feel free to come and join us and make this day fantasticaly special and uber fun

I only just managed to stay upright! Almost made it ok to be leaving the weekend behind I would be honered to receive another I do believe.More psi music eh, well there's an event called psycle that occurs in Nottingham every other month which is crammed full of psi goodness. I'm sure you would be welcome somewhere in Nottingham perhaps even chez G! you'll just have to make it up here sometime.
Which reminds me, for those of you who are not yet aware, we (as in the Nottingham collective) are hoping to enjoy a weekend of spinny goodness commencing on 08/10/05. A one day convention has been arranged for the Sunday (9th) as the first in a series of conventions that will be hosted in the coming months. This first one, however, is planned to be many poi and staff type stuff with workshops and stuff. With this in mind we are hoping to drag people up on the Saturday for a bit of a spin and chill with the possiblility of some general Nottinghamese camraderie
Please feel free to come and join us and make this day fantasticaly special and uber fun I have included the lincs to the event threads below such that you may peruse the intentions for the weekend

jesus you've been virtually poked! mwahahahaha! that was for turning up late last meet-i still dont buy that you were there at nine, and i had muffins which i was intending to share but me and laura got bored and ate them all before you arrived. need to poke everyone else 2-they didn't even try 2 give a reason why they were late, leaving me and laura out in the cold all alone for an hour and a half! but seeing as i am the forgiving kind, here's a big hug ->
anyways on the subject of events in nottm, whats the diablo thing you were going on about on the 6th and 7th sept? did you say twas in sneinton? if so where in sneinton as my knowledge of this place is somewhat limited
-have never really needed to be in that part of nottm.
but anyway me and laura will be down this week (possibly with my new fire poi! GREAT STUFF!) a little earlier and probably staying a little later too-makes up 4 last week! woowoo!!

Hey Louise, nice to see you on here, I was there at 9! but then I could see anyone so I went to see my Dad who had just returned from France and who has given me shelter in his humble abode and so this message comes to you from the Lake District. Unfortunately the outfit wasn't mine so I won't be sporting it this Thursday and the cowboy hat....well that's Scott's and the likelyhood that he will let anyone wear it is exceptionally low.
Yeah. that diablo workshop is somewhere around there, it was Sue that told me about it so I'll send her an email to check the details. It will be in Sneinton at some place called the Sneinton Hermitage but I'm yet to know where that is so I'll check that out as well. Loking forward to seeing the new fire poi. You'll have to give us a demo
