Well hello there,
My name is Jo, I like to flow, sometimes I go quite slow, I live a life of joy, just me and my 2 poi, spinning circles in the air, and taking care not to burn my long hair!

she kept stealing sym's poi when she stayed here so we made her her very own poi (only one, though).
it's a long blue and black stripey sock with a squeaky ball in the end! she's got the hang on the weave and butterfly quite well

Well well well...
last night I decided to go down the pub to see my lovely Newbury friends.
I'm not at the Wales border meet because I am on possibly the heaviest period of my life
and it's hideous. So you can understand why I didnt go!Anyway, so i get down the pub, I buy a J2O, my friend Tom (from the Lockup- the ska band from Play festival), offers me a "pong" round the side of the pub, I oblige.
On the way back to the pub, I pass out!
I've never passed out before and to be honest, it was so weird.
I felt like I was in bed having a dream, but when I opened my eyes I was lying on the pavement with Tom saying "Jo!! Jo!"
I couldnt hear him very well but I could see him.
he made me sit up, at which point I spewed over my bag! Nice! It was so embarrassing, loads of people in the pub, and people walking past were staring and making comments.
I felt so ashamed. I just wanted to teleport into my bed!
Luckily Tom is kickass and totally looked after me. If that wasnt enough my best mate Ren showed up and bought me chocolate.
Within about 2 minutes of eating a Flake (only the crumbliest flakiest milk chocolate!) I felt ok and I managed to stand up, and Ren walked me home, where I ate cheerios, drank tea and watched Black Books dvds.
I have a scab on my elbow and a bump on my head but other than that I'm ok!
Bloody menstruation and lack of iron! (plus it was a strong pong I think!)

Jo babe, go to the doc and get checked out. You are probably right about what caused it but it might be a good idea to get checked out and maybe mention your period has got very heavy all of a suddern.

oh hun do make sure you go to the doc's sounds like its that heavy your blood presure has hit rock bottom = passing out(i get it sometimes)

Hey all,
as some of you know, last weekend I fainted outside the pub. I saw my doc on Thursday and he says my blood pressure is ridiculously low
Which is why i've been dizzy and why i fainted.
I have to have a blood test tomorrow morning which i am pooing myself about! I am so terrified of blood tests! Last time i had one I almost fainted!!
Then on Wednesday I'm having my first cervical smear..

Blood tests are yucky, but have to be endured sometimes. Best just to ask them if you can lay down when having it because you feel nervous and because you might faint. Then you can shut your eyes and hum a happy song to yourself and it will be over before you know it.
As for the Cervical smear, well that's just like saying Ahhhhhhh.... only not with your mouth. Again tell the nurse/Doctor you are nervous and they will hopefully help to put you at ease. Take a few deep relaxing breaths and you'll be fine for both of them.
NEVER skip a smear! They are very important.
And just a reminder to all you boys that read this... remember to go to the Doctors once in a while and have your private parts checked. Testicular cancer is more common than you think and can be cured if detected early enough.
Early detection by self examination and Doctors screening is a must for everyone.
