a littl too deep for me at the moment i'm stoned

but i liked it, it really floated through my head

kinda like a paper napkin floatin on the breeze

Individual Heroes (Or Can WE solve the Problem?)

A Revision of the old system.

I saw a programme last night on TV, “Once upon a time in Iran” that left me feeling both angry and helpless. The story was of a group of Ordinary Iranian people, merchants, teachers etc making a pilgrimage to Kabala in Iraq. It’s an extremely dangerous thing to do but they put their faith in their God and carried on. Although I only watched up to the point they reached the Iraqi border this programme touched my heart very deeply. The people of Iran have been through so much In the last three decades, in fact in around the last two centuries they have not been able to live their lives without someone in Britain or America knowing everything about it.

The programme kept showing a gentleman who ran “the house of strength”, a place for Iranian men to train their Martial arts, their Sports. And when he spoke you could see both the pride in his heart and the hidden tears and fear over the almost inevitable Western takeover of his country. He used the words “Never to be a Tyrant, Never to live under Tyranny.” saying that these are the teachings of Hussain*. A simple phrase that I find is very close to my own heart and my own views. However, he also stated that Bush is basically the new Yazid** and that “friends of Bush are friends of Yazid, that Britain is a Friend of Bush.” It’s a sentence that angered me, my anger however was not at the man on TV, it was in fact aimed at the fact that this man has been led to believe that ALL British and ALL Americans are in agreement with Bush. I am not. I am sure there are countless Millions of British and American civilians and Military who also are not in agreement with Bush. Then I realised that there would be no way of saying this out loud to the Iranian people, for me or For any other person who may feel the same as I do. In fact, if I were to do so, I would probably be arrested under the Terrorism act and the Gods only know what would happen to me then. With a deep sadness I realised that the gentleman in the House of Strength could already see that eventually his house would be destroyed soon, or worse, it would be turned into a McDonalds, or an Oil Depot with a British or American company running the show. This man has no future if he does not co-operate with the West. He, like the rest of his people will be forced to obey Western rules, buy Wester products and live Western lives, if not, they risk being called terrorists.

There is something very wrong with the world today. America is becoming greedier and Britain, who at one time supported America with a loving adoration of the ideals it had, are now forced to join in, not because they want to, nor because they still believe in America, but because if we don’t we put ourselves in danger. Like the rest of the world we can easily be seen as a “threat” to the prosperity of America and treated as such. One day, when America has bled the Earth dry of oil, has destroyed every nation in search of the “Black Gold” it will turn it’s guns on those that have helped it and still have a reserve.

While I do not advocate aggression toward America, nor do I toward Bush I do believe that those people in the world who feel it wrong to invade Iran, or in fact any other country, band together in a firm refusal to help, in fact, by means of strike action, peaceful demonstration and selective voting, stop the disgusting abuse of nations who are not strong enough to resist the “might” of the Western world.

I also believe more effort should be put into developing alternative energy sources for all those things that need oil or derivatives of oil. Not only would it benefit the whole world by avoiding conflict, it would also benefit the whole world by saving the environment. An Efficient source of energy such as wind power, hydro power, solar power can be available to the whole world and that is a HUGE step toward equality across the world, a massive step toward the end of poverty as no-one has to pay for the sun, the wind or the sea.

If America put time and energy into teaching Permaculture and Hydroponics to Countries that suffer from drought and Famine, it would end these things.

In fact, in a way, America would become what it dreamed of being, “saviours” of the world and yes people would look up to America and smile again.

Hundreds of years ago the Christian world rose up and invaded the Middle East in a religious war against the Muslims. The War was the Crusades and it was essentially a Jyhad*** Today we look back on those days with a sense of Pride, Christians invaded and seized Jerusalem in the name of the same God as the people that they stole it from and the Western world sees this as a good thing.

About two centuries ago Britain invaded the same area in the name of Peace, we tried to stop the different factions of Islam, the different tribes, from warring against each other over holy sites, we even ended up dividing the area into the countries we have today. The Western World (which is supposedly a Christian place) stopped people doing what they themselves had done centuries before it saying it was a bad thing. Hypocrisy.

Now a handful of Islamic fundamentalists have called for a Jyhad against the Western World (something that I find hardly surprising even if it is both stupid and wrong), these few (and it is only a few) fanatics have killed American people, British People and even their own people in the name of a cause that almost the rest of the Muslim world does not believe in, and in fact would probably stand against. Yet, we tar all Muslims with the same brush in our ignorance.

Whilst I acknowledge the utter futility of Holy Wars and I can only talk about them with a bitter distaste for they are in fact the reason the world is in such pain today, I also realise that there are many countries who value their religion so strongly that they would die to protect it, such as the Tibetan Buddhists, the Jews and the many Pagan peoples of the world throughout History. These Religions have suffered greatly at the hands of religions and cultures that do not have religious tolerance. Cultures such as China, Religions such as Christianity (despite one of it’s ten commandments being “love thy neighbour” and another being “thou shalt not kill”) and political views such as fascism. But dying for one’s religion does not mean invading another country in the name of making that religion the ONLY religion. I am a Pagan, and whilst the Monotheistic Judaeo based religions pretty much all despise Paganism (a view born of ignorance, narrow mindedness and a lack of Religious tolerance) I see the relevance and realism of ALL religions. They all have their place, they are all just as real as each other.

I believe that ALL religions should be taught in schools in an unbiased way, in a way that does not focus on any part of that religion thus forcing a persons view toward it.

I believe that WORLD news should be reported by the WORLD, not by someone in an office in London, being paid to say only certain things thus forcing a nations view toward the country or subject.

I believe that Media should be free of the state, ALL opinions should be heard and not one of them emphasised. In this way the public can form their own opinion.

I believe the Public should have more control over matters that involve their country and it’s involvement in other countries. The public should be allowed to vote on whether we go to war, and we should all be informed of the situation by ALL sides.

I believe that the Public has a right to know “The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth” on every subject.

I believe the Western World has the responsibility to peacefully aid poorer nations toward an equality, without colonization, Westernisation or War, rather through helping these countries develop the necessary, sustainable technologies and energy sources, farming techniques and levels of education.

Poor Countries DO NOT need Nike Trainers and McDonalds, they need fertile soil, the same levels of access to medication for the sick and injured as people in the western world, and education which teaches tolerance of the rest of the world WITHOUT bias and WITHOUT changing the culture or identity of that nation.

I do NOT propose the forming of a group or number of groups devoted to this cause, I believe that everyone has the right to follow these guidelines of their own free will. A Group can only lead toward failure as they strive for recognition on meeting targets of helping “this many people” or “achieving this first” I believe we all have the responsibility to act on our own initiative, without expecting thanks or reward. WE are all Human, the Great Tribe of Humankind. With this kind of action we can achieve equality, tolerance, peace and success in saving not only millions of lives, but the Earth as well.

Whilst I know there are millions of people out there who may read this, and out of those millions most of them will feel a spark of inspiration, I also know that that spark will quickly die with the feeling that they are not strong enough. But think of this, if those people got up and did one small thing, perhaps write to the Prime Minister, on their own, that's a lot of mail for his desk that he'd have to acknowledge. If only one person goes to a peace rally, others who may have read this might see them and feel more inspired to join in, which would in to inspire more people to join in. The individual has more power than a group, in standing up and showing strength, determination and personal belief, we can inspire others to do the same.

Of the millions of people I've heard talking about current affairs, on TV, on the street, I haven't heard ONE that's happy with what's going on. Think what would happen if we could inspire them all.

Poor darling worries to much

Funny how lately those sailors in iran apologised, and our media assume (more probable, paid to say) that these "confessions" and "apologies" were "forced".

Clearly, they've admitted they had been bad naughty government spy-type people and are probably sh!t scared BECAUSE when they get back here, they know they're in big trouble with the government for admitting they were sent there.

Beltane = pagan charity where very few pagans are actually accepted to take part in their performances.

Me bitter? never. But it's ironic when it was us druids who kept the tradition alive when the romans invaded, and it was us druids who were dropped! (Me and Sunbird)

Yes having kids and taking part in Beltane is not feasable as none of those damn hippies could give a damn, all they care about is how many Beltanites they can get into bed after this year's performance!

It's all down to favouritism, the only new blood that gets in are the famous ones or more commonly the ones that the blue men fancy. Besides, I'm a real Pagan, I know what I'm talking about and they don't want people who know to have their say in case they are proved wrong and this means, REAL Pagans cramp their style.

anyway, back to my "current affairs" rant lol.

I wonder, as America pretty much controls the way that things are going in the whole of the western world, wether we all (Allies an otherwise) shouldn't be allowed to vote on the American Elections.

I fear for America, Britian and our allies, we are all at the mercy of governments that none of us trust and all of us are powerless to stop without being arrested on the anti-terrorist acts and depending on how hard we try to stop the abuse, can get a conviction, or if we try really hard, can be done for treason. (Isn't that still a hanging offence here in Britain?).

Those at the top are so fearful of losing control of their positions that they demoralise the people so much that we are no longer communal, we no longer stick together as a community, clan or tribe, we are mostly nuclear families or individuals, some people even cut themselves off so completely that they don't talk to their parents and don't even know their neighbours. It's a perfect little scheme for the governments, as a community can band together and be dangerous to the people of power. one community can join another community and it becomes a movement, one movement joins another and it becomes a revolution. Break apart the communtiy and Break the people's power.

One Man is not meant to have so much power.

It's flims and books like V for Vendetta, animal farm, 1984 and equilibrium that should both teach us inspire us. teach us about how things can quickly become corrupt, teach us that we can be quickly blinded without proper education, teach us that these people truly are mighty, but that that might only extends to violent action and the fear of it, that their might has been gained by sly backhanded bribery of the people thorugh the supply of drugs, tv and little freedoms. And inspire us to act, although not quite so dramatically lol, as in these films and books. They show us that once people see a cause that benefits them all, and once the first move is made, a snowballing effect takes place and these people come together as one, they act together as a community.

As Britain and America are truly the mightiest nations on earth and (I'd reckon) about 75% if not more of the populations of these nations disagree with what is going on, we should be able to make a difference.

I refuse to be tarred with the same brush as some racist, power hungry prick who's malcontent and war mongering is slowly breeding a hate in the world that can only lead to a violent revolt. I take no side, I do not know enough about war or the reasons for it to agree with either side. I am neutral (I'm an ovate after all lol) and I wish for the people of power in the west to see that as I do not fight for them, it weakens them in number and (even in a TINY amount) in Morale. And I wish for the people of the "opposition" to see that as I do nopt fight against them, I am no threat and will cause no harm and should be left alone.

Wouldn't it be perfect if we could band them all together for a bit, get them to sit down and have a cup of tea, chill out and be REAL people, not "powerful" people. Get them to spend a day as our equals and friends?

We've done it!

Today I signed the papers to get us off Job Seekers and onto a Business startup scheme. We're now Rainbow gardens

*jumps up and down with Joy* And the lady at the Job Centre allready offered us some work! Funny, it turns out that her brother used to work for my old boss at the hotel and got laid off with just as much disgrace! Small world.
