me!
i've been meaning to do an intro for a while so here it is (and hopefully this will stay updated)

name kevin
location manchester
age 20

i'm gonna keep this short and sweet, so here goes...
im curently living the dream as a student bum in manchester (well not dream but its pretty close).
ive been spinning poi on and off since january '0 (im not any good yet). been through all but two moves on the free lessons page (backwards weave?!?!? no chance!) and downloaded practically every video on this site.
at the moment ive got myself some practice poi, fire poi, and glowsticks. but unfortunately nowhere to practice except in my living room which isnt ideal, and the light on the roof doesnt seem to think it is either.
been down to one manchester meet so far and stood about watching cos everyone was so good, will have to go down again and do something this time!
well thats it!
so a big wavehello to everyone.....

good day to you! cool

Did lots of people force cakes at a bedreadlocked guy and then sing Happy Birthday at him in a somewhat discordant and boistrous fashion? If so it was my birthday spin.

Although, that said, my b'day was mid-january. So it was more likely the one where Miss Vixen and her minimaniac came to visit. If so, we all got acosted by the same drunk. So you shouldn't go feeling special.... wink

oooh lots of posts ...
i cant really remember who was there or what went on cos i was tired and not happy that i had only an hour to go before i had to go to work.
made myself some sock poi today smile and been stood for an hour practicing the thing where you spin the poi together in a tangle and it magically untangles.
btw that manchester meet was where i first saw that move ... and the only reason i have sock poi!

Hi and welcome bing! wave I should mention that there are many other reasons to have sock poi. e.g. assaulting random people without being a chain wielding psycho.

And look cute while doing it biggrin
