Just thought I'd say hullo - since I tend to spend 90% of my time on here lurking
I've been on here under a few different nicknames but I haven't introduced myself as any of them I don't think!
My name's Cat, and I've just moved to Perth from Brissy so I can do Vet, which is pretty crazy, considering we were renting this amazing house perched right on the edge of this huge mountain over looking this massive valley, with no neighbours, huge veg patch, massive trees and an awesome look out that was 10 minutes away where you could see the city on one side of the lookout, and all the way up the coast (on a clear day) on the other!!
So ya I must really wanna do Vet!
Um, I'm 23 this year, love animals to bits, also love dissections to bits (*groans at bad pun*), love horse-riding, caving, canoeing, ghost hunting (unless its my house), going to the BEACH (didnt have those in Bris!) and probably about 1000 other things.
So hullo and stuff and would love to meet/chat/have a play with ppls! ... My fav toi is poi... I've been doing it randomly now for probably several years? I used to do some performance work.
Will post pics once my camera and boyfriend get here (Wednesday woohoo *bounces off the walls*).
Ooh I will post a pic of the view from our old house *rummages around computer files* - this is gorgeous. Once I figure out how to chuck it in the users gallery that is...
But I know I'm gonna end up buying a nicer place, (house was pretty crappy) in a bigger, nicer wilderness when I graduate preferably near the mountains that snow in winter for skiiing, and also right near the beach and with a few level paddocks in between for sustainable crops. Oh and a big fire place... *wonders what everyone else's dream place is now that I've gotten sidetracked*...

The Brissy place sounds mazing and I thought Quennsland offered vet courses as well.

Vet is offered in Qld but Perth decided it wanted me first

Perth is gorgeous! And yes. Beach. Bleah. Just because Brissie's main beach is artificial. :P
But yes, we've got no sunset at Cottesloe if that's what you're saying. Though we do have various coasts not too far away..
Good luck with the vet stuff. I glanced through a friend's vet notes last year and it looked like the hardest stuff to study. And that was just his horse folder.. I wasn't game (no pun intended) to look at the next one!
