Hullo. I have been researching this site for about.... 5 days now (it was brought to my attention by Greyedge) and since then been addicted... at least to this site. I have not spun yet, (orders a fabric pair, should be here in a couple of days) but I do devilstick regularly. My name is Tim and I've lived here in New Orleans, LA for about 8 years now. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

welcome hug I know you'll have fun here and learn a lot - I already have. New Orleans, heh? I would think there would be a few spinners there - I could see spinning fire as being a hit for all the partyers who go there - or am I way off... biggrin

Well, ive been here for a while and the only time i see fire been perform was a juggler who did some fire eating. That movie runaway jury (which was filmed here) had some fire breathing in it if i remember correctly.
I have a goal (with a few friends mind you) to have a routine done by the end of the year... IF we become very proficient at the arts.

i've got hair, but it's under my armpits, which i'm told isn't normal. i had one guy go as far as saying 'it's unnatural for girls to have hairy armpits', unnatural! and that makes me the abnormal one! ok rant over. lets go back to the weather.

well since i was born in alaska, i must say, i like polar bears.

but raccoons can be kinda cute i guess...

we have these nasty looking rats/beavers called neutra rats. The have the body and teeth of a beaver but the tail of a rat. Its quite a nasty animal. The Sherriff here once had a bounty on them. If you brought it a certain amount of tails you would get like 5 bucks. I am under the impression that they came from France. (i might be wrong though).
