Hello,

I've been eating fire for a year now. I've used Ultra pure lamp oil and Coleman white gas. Both work well. The question is, which fuel is the *least* toxic to use?

I find that white gas burns more cleanly, whereas lamp oil can leave a film....

I apologize if this has already been answered. I did a few searches, but was unable to find anything directly relating to the toxicity of the fuels in your mouth.

If there is another, less toxic fuel I did not mention, please let me know.

Thank you for your time.

Michael

Hi,
Thanks for the response, but I already read that fuel guide before I posted.

What I am looking for is *specific* information pertaining to whether lamp oil or Coleman white gas enters the blood stream more quickly (if at all) when you eat fire. I'm also looking to find out which one is worse for your health if you happen to swallow a small amount.

I've been eating fire for a year, and have never had a problem. But, if one of the fuels is especially bad for you, then I'll go on fire eating with the other one.

The on-line fuel guide doesn't speak to these issues.

If anyone has any tips or info, let me know. Thanks!

Firstly appologies if you've already read this, but in order to specifically answer your question, I'll need to know brand name(s) for the lamp oil your using, and I have msds sheets for several brand(s), will need specifics etc, as for colman(s) white gas I only use the stuff for fire trails and fire painting (fakir) etc, I don't use it for oral fire arts, for that I use one or more types of lamp oil and or ultra pure caldor parafin.

Either pm me brands or post them here and I'll answer your question.
